Hi,
I have some stupid questions about DMX light controls.
i'm mobile dj and i have had many gigs so far. At some gig places, there has been dmx lights and hardware controllers and i'd like to learn to use them.
But when i have used laptop and VDJ, the lights does not recognize the bpm and just moving around the dancefloor pointlessly. It looks very unprofessional.... :(
So how can i make the lights move synced to the beat? Should i connect dmx hardware controller to amp or mixer or the laptop to detect the beat?
I see in VDJ config menu that there is some support for DMX. How could i use that?
I don't want to become a professional light jockey, but some simple limited light controlling could be nice.
