Sounds like its an MK2 without a soundcard you should be able to prelisten with 4.1 or above card

The X-session is a simple midi controller that can be programmed to controller various items in software like VirtualDJ. It is just a midi controller.

Specifically it can be set to controll every feature on the interface.
I have mine set to control A & B volume, main volume, gain on each, LMH Eq on each, headphone mix and volume and I use the buttons for pitch reset, bass kill, and some effect plug in activation.
So it becomes the mixer essentially and then some.
Couple it up with a DAC 3 and you have all the control you could want.

do u think that it is good as a stand alone mixer or not?

That is what I use, but remember you need a mic input and phone output which means a sound card that can handle that.
My answer was the M Audio Fast Track Pro which has twin mic inputs and a phone mixer.
However if you scratch you will need the U46DJ which has twin imputs.
