try reinstalling the console :)
 


Just set the latency in VDJ to auto when running BCD2000..

(after shutting down Wifi, lan and bluetooth)
 
I've had this same problem
 
I've tryed several configs but problem still remains
 
Tried reinstalling the bcd driver but it it still stopping
any further suggestions ?
 
did you have any conflicts on your device list?
 
Can you just run through how I can check this ?

Sorry skyfxl I didnt know what you meant yes I have checked this & to the best of my knowledge there are no conflicts. Is there anyplace I can send you a screenshot to show you ?
 
 
Note for notebook users: If you encounter problems operating the BCD2000 from your system, please disable the following settings:

In the Device Manager (right click on My Computer> Manage> Device Manager), click option “Batteries” > disable Microsoft ACPI-Com pliant Control Method Battery.

In the USB Controller, do the following for each single USB Root Hub: Right click > Properties > Power management > disable the option “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

Restart Windows XP. Now the system performance of your computer should be more stable..

And don t forget to disable the Ethernet card ….

this works for me ...
 
it's three months by now that my bcd remains in its box waiting for a solution from behringer

I had the same problems and that was the solution, unpack your BCD and give it a try …..
 
a lot of laptops come preinstalled with software that controls power settings and also wireless lan settings, maybe they are also a problem with the bcd2000. i know with my toshiba laptop, i have fallen short because of this preinstalled software so i got rid of it and now, no problems! something to think about!
 
I GOT AN IDEA.... IT WORKS A LITTLE WITH FREEZING I HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS BUT I USE NUMARK CUE (SAME THING) IF YOU PRESS CTRL ALT DEL IT WILL BRING THE TASK MANAGER UP. IF YOU RIGHT CLICK CUE OR VDJ AND GIVE IT HIGH PRIORITY YOUR CPU WILL FOCUS ON THE VDJ PROGRAM. I ALSO RUN AN IBM P4m 2.4 WITH 512 RAM AND I STILL GOT SMALL ISSUES IT SKIPS THROUGH SONGS AND DELETES THEM FROM MY PLAY LIST BUT THIS HELPED ALOT!!!

i tried but my notebook still freezes vdj if i use bcd2000 when i must play at vdj radio.... can you imagine suddenly stop music when 500 people is dancing on the floor (i play radio sessions live when working at the club)... i hope you dont have that experience.
I really desire this freezing problem to be resolved for bcd2000, is a nice controller. Also there's an unsolved split problem for headphones.
 
same problem, almost returning the product to the factory, tryied EVERYTHING, there's something you didn't mention, the behringer site has a patch for Intel motherboards, something like that. It might be a solution for some, for me it wasn't. even on Mac it freezes the traktor, using as MIDI controller (it doesn't work as sound card on macs, only bcd 3000 does). Does anybody know it bcd 3000 has the same problems!!??
 
i finally decided to return my bcd2000.
bcd3000 looks the same though i didnt try but ill not take the risk for a new deceive
 
According to behringer, is suppouse that bcd3000 is the replacement for bcd2000 that had conflicts with several chipset, although externaly are quite similar, bcd3000 has changed inside and modified the chip as well as some other pieces.
