Hi all,
I'm planning to buy some portable speakers that would easily plug to the MK2 and that would have a good acoustic for its size. I'm kind of looking for something that would sound really good but in a very compact format. I know that this is hard to have all at once...
I would only use them when I'm away on a holiday. See, we rent apartments and we like to have small parties when we're away. So that would be the kind of thing that I would like to use them for.
Any suggestions? Where could I get them?
Cheers

Those look great, tophouse. I've seen them in Lycos http://shopping.lycos.co.uk/query.html?cat=0&qu=EV+ZX1 but it seems like the price is for one speaker and it costs 195£. Does anyone know anything more budget-like?

I use ProMedia Ultra 2.0 from Klipsch, which have more than enough power(never heard that much base in a 2.0 system for computers) for most appartments and home parties.

Ramses800, those look very nice and the price is affordable. Do they really work for you then?
Is there anyone else with other suggestions?

Try the M-audio BX3's, they run for about $100. They also sound pretty good. I bring them with me everywhere I go.

I am extremely satisfied with the Promedia, both in actual sound quality(Klipsch is mainly a HI-FI producer) and the volume I can get from them. And they actually are enough for spinning at home parties.
