hi ,
id like to start recording some mixes through my herc and virtual dj,when i try to record in mp3 it says it can t find a decoder to do this ,can anyone give me some advice on what to do ,i would prefer to do the mp3 way cause wav eats my harddrive
also what setttings should i have the sliders at on the volume control to get a good quality of playback ,i recorded some a few months back ,and when i played it back the quality was the worst,distorting all over the place

heya u need to download the lamecodec .dll into your program folder

watch the Eq , try higher quality setting in the mp3

wow -that was quick thanks alot, ill give it a bash ,
so i download it -open it
then when i try to record in virtual,i browse for the enconder and click on it --sounds about right?
i dont have to put the encoder into the virtual dj program folder somewhere?

ok ,thats sorted it then ,thanks alot for the help ,just tested it and it sounds great
for any doughnuts like me that didnt under stand how to,
download the program - win zip and extract to -- c drive---program files---virtual dj
works a treat
