I was thinkin if there's a way to make vdj run without windows, or other drivers.

get your point, that u want to run VDJ only, freeing resources.. but its not possible to run without an Windows (or Linux/mac trying to me Windows)
But there are many ways to make the program run smoother if thats the problem...
Like turning off all background apps, turning off windows xp fancy extras etc... There is a great post on that in technical forum, the first "sticky" post there
