Isn't there a delay when using usb audio? would I want to use a pcmcia audio card like echo, or am I ok with an external card like maya5.1. I can get a good deal on the maya but worried it won't be fast enough response time from my timecoded vinyl. However I notice people here talk about external usb audio with the tcv. Maybe they don't notice but I want responsive-ness. Dj'ing requires precision.
thanks for any help.

if you use a low latency card and asio driver all will be well

does using a usb soundcard defeat the purpose of 'low latency'? I think there is more delay with usb audio...

My question about that is:
Do I run my souncard firewire or the external hard drive firewire?

i meant usb or firewire vs pcmcia. thinking about griffin imic or maya5.1 but manufactureers will tell you ' you will notice a delay when using usb audio'
Do users here using usb audio with timecoded vinyl experience fast results?
Will using a usb soundcard with timecoded vinyl turn the response time of my technics 1200 table into the likes of a gemini or numark?
sry for all the same questions...I just want the same kind of performance my table delivers, but with TC Vinyl.
Thanks!

Firewire 2.0 is the real stuff...almost 1gig/sec of data....
