I am looking into purchasing a new copy of VDJ and maybe one of the hercules mk2 or the mp3 version. The problem I have read is that they wont work with any new software and will only interface with the old software that comes bundled with them. Any help on this or some hardware setup recomendations would be great. Thanks

they come with 3.4 console edtion
to get 4.1 r2 you have to pay the upgrade fee
mk2 is the same as mp3 control + an internal soundcard and preview system
i have the mk2 i like it alot
with pro version

there are other soundcards you might wish to try
to get some ideas have a look in the forum thread share gear to inspire others :)
