Hi,
I don't know if I am off topic. Hope not.

I'd like to buy a software to produce studio mixes. I have tried some of them and found that it should be an hybrid between Audition 2 and MixMeister Fusion 7. Does anybody know if there exists something like that (in particular, audition's mixer is very well designed and really powerful, and fusion's transition engine is really helpful)!

Thanks!
Pier

I use a combination of different hardware and software.

For software studio mixing I find that these are the best:
Sony Acid Pro: A professional drag and drop, track editor
Fruity Loops: A professional synth/sequencer/loop/beat-maker
Virtual DJ: real time mixing
Magix Music Maker: Similar to Acid, but easy to use and has a lot of great options, effects, etc.

While I haven't quite found a program that can stand by itself, a combination of a few very good, great value programs such as these can really bring it all together.

My favorites are Magix Music Maker, Fruity Loops, and Virtual DJ.

i aslo use a program called pro tools
which does a bit of drag and drop , sequencing , wavform adjustmens , generation , recording , and loops
which i think is very good ,
http://www.digidesign.com/intl_selector.cfm

another good all in one product is reason 3
http://www.propellerheads.se/

and is used by many studios in the world , as its has synth , insturments and all of the features of pro tools

has a 450 pound price tag lol

i like fruity loops used it in the past

magix , from apearances looks basic but is actualy rather good ;)

sony acid not such a fan , its a bit basic and has unstable moments

pro tools is THE studio recording software, used by most professional studio worldwide.

but that doesn't mean it's the best for remixing, i'm sure there are better and easier to use programs for this purpose (eg. magix music maker)

a really good software is 'ableton live', but it's "expensive" because it's also professional software
