dont actually think its realated to directx
i get the error message when having used Hercules, and try start VDJ without Hercules next time..
anyway, keep "auto update" on, in VDJ, and I think it will updayte, I'm not sure..
At least I got another error message now saying "cosole not connected", and thats more like it ;)
