Wow, does it have video memory? Right now, when I use the sonique plugins, it slows my computer down to a crawl - would this take care of that?

I'm not sure about the RAM on this GPU USB Card.

I have this card and although it works well with karaoke, it does not work well with video. There is no memory and the refresh rate is too slow for video presentation. You will not be able to use accelerated video with this card, only window mode.

yes this card is like intel intergrated graphics it will take chunks of your ram and acellaration will not be available but good for KJ

It's not a stand alone video card. It works with the ecxisting video card in your laptop. If you allready have a strong video card or huge amount of RAM, it will be helpfull. Otherwise it will "knee" your laptop.
