What is TCV?

All I was planning on getting is the VIrtual DJ program and a DAC-3. Am looking at that U46DJ card but might go with something else because the club an hour from here that I play at only once a month doesn't have easy access to the back of the denon deck. I would have to unrack pull it out just to unplug/plug the cables into the U46DJ.

tcv = timecode vinyl

And a DAC-3 is probably more hazzle free for you, if your Denons are unaccessable/hard to rewire.

A DAC is just like using a rackmount CD controller

You could also skip the U46DJ as well as right now with the DAC3 and Lappy you should be ok. You could just split the audio to 2 channels. Just thought I would let you know if $$ is low. You can always add it later. Brian

What are your thoughts on this one? This lappy is even easier on the pocketbook than the Inspiron E1705.

For audio mixing... dual core, 2 giga ram... it will be rock solid ;)

Budgeting down on some parts, but they are not essential for audio mixing...

The ATI card depends on if its dedicated ram or not, but might even be good for video mixing :)
