do you have the mk2?

i dont but i thinking about esi maya 44 and 3 track mixer, i have mp3 controller

maya 44 usb sounds good

however you need virtual dj pro for this config

however a
discount is available for mp3 console users

i will have professional version just i need to know do i need a digitrack cartridge for tt or i can use any

you can use any decent quality cartridge. There is a sticky on the General Discussion page that explains all about this.

about soundcard esi maya 44 or u46dj mk2 are full coporated with tcvs
about cartridges for me you have to choose between 2 products
a) ortofon digitrack
b) shure m447 wich for me are the best for scratching (just to let u know only sphericals cartridges are for scratching)
wich of both you choose you must have set your tonearm with the right settings for scratch :)

I am trying to get away from my mk2 when using TCV, with that said which sound card would be better for TCV use? The maya 44 or the u46dj

I don't think you can get the maya 44. Last time I checked it was discontinued. Try the U46DJ, inexpensive stable card. Search "U46DJ". There are hundreds of posts.

Search first. That way you won't have to deal with a dumbass like me telling you to search first.
