I don't use the video mixing feature so I thought I would try it out
Works great... but I have one problem/Question
While mixing the video stops, Music continues to play but the video stops
and kinda pulses sometimes. I don't have any effects turned on.
Is it my video card? I don't have anything fancy
Anyway.... The video continues whenever it feels like it.
if It will move also if I scratch the video from the icdx.
Any ideas?

What are the machine specs? What video card? Do you have anything else running in the background? What are your video configurations?

thats a shared graphics card not many shared graphics can cut video mixing
actions need to happen a lot faster than just playing a video or a game

Ok I kinda Figured that was my problem. I didn't expect the built in Dell Video Crap would do the video mixing well. and since the audio continued to play and the CPU usage was low I didn't think it was anything else...
Now here's the million dollar question...
on a laptop how would I get a better video card?
usb? pcmcia?

and the largest card i can find is 32 mb which is to low anyway :(
idealy need 256 dedicated memory or greater,
