I have from my old set up a Numark DM950 mixer and 2 numark cd decks. Now I am making the move to be 100%mp3 are these bits of kit any good to me?

Mixer is fine unless you are looking to get into midi controls of the VDJ environment - NUO4 -
maybe have built in sound cards - DM950USB

Well not my first choice for a CD player to use with TimeCode, but yes they would work.
Everything you have would get you started and as you get more comfortable with how things work then you could definitely trade up to other gear.

my opinion, it would be a really good investment to upgrade to the axis 8's..it has wayyy more stuff than the axis 4, and the TCCD's work great, but if you can DJ good with the axis 4's thats great
