the position bar provides better information regarding the song.
it shows both base volume and trebbel volume in a wave form.
i think it can also be oriented in any direction you want and even take the form of a shape such as a circle.
the problem is that as detailed as it is. there is no way for me to zoom in and see the base and trebbel difference better.

the idea i had was to have the track view displays next to each other and scroling from right to left in the same way, allso resising with pitch (like the waveform does too) so that it could act as good guide as to how your mix is going to be in 32 or 64 beats time.
its good that you can zoom in and out on the main display but being able to see the fine detail and also the wider picture of how the songs are going to match up and actualy combine, at the same time would be valuable
