I have the modonna Music Video DVD, it has 13 music videos on it, when I try and "Rip" the videos to play in VDJ I use the program ImToo, it was reccomended here on VDJ....but, it onlyn rips it as one long track, 1:02:00 long......I want to rip the individual tracks so I can play each of them....

Anyone out there have any suggestions??

What and how does a chapter evolve in the video TS folder under a .vob.
I took a home video the other day and noticed there were two chapters in the video,
and only 1 vob file. What did I do to cause this as other vob files only had one chaper?

Dump Imtoo and have a look in my blog for a full guide on ripping music video DVD's to seperate songs. I used to use Imtoo, I've gone through them all and now beleive I've found the best option.

My guide gives all settings and instructions for getting perfect rips.

I actually go the format I needed form their tech support....he suggested ripping to a super vidoe cd format (*.vob) I did this with my music DVD's and it works great in VDJ, no yellow line down the screen.

I will also try your suggestions, it wont hurt to compare and see the difference

Thanks

a big hello to tophouse aswell, thanks for the help the other day, think this may help everyone like me that has initial problems ripping dvds to mpeg or any other format your problems are now over this programme is tayla proof meaning any idiot like me can be ripping dvds or individual tracks in seconds.

you find this programme at www.avsmedia.com and choose avs video tools its on special just now at roughly £22 OR 39.95 USD its a 4 in 1 bundle of programmes and is free to try with their banner coming up if your track is over five minutes long. i've been using the video remaker part, all you do is bung in the dvd select your source (what you want to copy) chose whether you want to rip and convert the full dvd or select individual tracks, select copy to dvd or mpg2 and bobs your aunty perfect video and audio in one easy go, i've been ripping individual tracks in less than thirty seconds give it a go its FREE on demo...enjoy.....Tayla
