Topic: time coded vinyl - do i need anything else?

i have the following:

2x technics 1210's
1x pioneer djm 600 mixer
a pc
a tft monitor
virtual dj pro

i want to use time coded vinyl so i can have a visual aid when beat matching tracks as im sick of using vinyl and losing the sync when cueing in the next track

if i buy 2x time coded vinyls can i simply use them on my decks and use my existing mixer?

yes just asio sound card esi maya 44 usb
 
yes you can use your mixer and if you have djconsole mk2 you dont need a souncard
dj console mk2 is an asio soundcard check how it will work here !
but you need vdj pro edition
 
 
unfortunately i bought the dj control mp3 unit instead about 3 months ago before i got the decks, i was not aware of the mk2 :o(

maya 44 is the most famous soundcard and full copartible with vdj in a logical price.
it works fine with tcv's.
also if you want to spend more take a look of u46 dj wich i prefer most

am i right in saying it gives a few more connections & is aimed at people perhaps with more equipment than me such as cdj's etc?

i would assume i can use the dj control mp3 unit as well as my decks with the 44 version?

Yes you can use your console too ,you just have to enable it on controller confiq.
Also if you by vdl pro edition you could download the mapper for your console and use the console's buttons for each fuction u want so with your decks,mixer and the console you have a super set-up :)
