a blunder at msn has lead to the login and verificaton servers to crash , this is needed to login as it writes a secured cookie to show you are logged in at your computer . thus you will not be able to login , any one lucky enough to be loged in i suggest you stay logged in as you might not be able to get on for a long time otherwise

I experienced the problem earlier, couldn't log in after many attempts, restarted the computer and then straight in :).

i think that means when you rebooted you got a new ip address via your dhcp ....... then the server at the other end let you in ....??????
