Topic: cue time coded cd's

i want to get the two time coded cd's for cue. numark told me that i have to use there sound card for it to work is this true? will my maya usb 44 sound card work i want to hook it up to my numark cdn 88 cd player.

Yes it will work, cue is the same as vdj, to my knowledge they havent made it stricktly to where you have to buy numarks sound card. Just go to downloads and download the vdj timecoded cds
 
they are the same just numark trying to sell you a box hehe :)
 
I downloaded the time coded track. do i copy only 1 track on each cd?
 
yes burn the file as an audio disk one mp3 per disk
 
Will the Maya also support Time Coded vinyl? I'm thinking about making the jump, but don't want to have to buy a Serrato box or an MK2.
 
yes. if it works with vdj it works with numark
 
i'm trying to set it up when i check asio setup under sound setup it says error
 
cue is picking up my maya44 when i'm playing without cd's. but its not letting me pick asio mode when i'm trying to set up my cd player that field is blank. comon guys help me out i want to get this thing up & running
 
did the time code vinyl of virtual dj work with numark cue?
the virtual vinyl is very expensive

yes

in the usa vdj tcv is gen 3 which is the same as numark vv
in europe last gen 2 ones are being sold then gen 3 will be released

gen 3 adds a few new features

my maya 44 is not showing up under asio in the sound setup when i'm trying to set it up to use my cd players . but it works when i play just using the laptop alone.
