I am reconfiguring my VJ system to incorporate VDJ. Typically, I'm mixing music videos with the Hercules Mark 2, and mixing that output with live camera (and other sources) via an Edirol V4. If I'm playing a music video on Player A of my Hercules (video and audio), and I want to load a green screen effect (video only) on Player B to chroma Key in my Edirol with a live camera, how would I keep the audio from the music video continuous out of my Hercules, while temporarily switching the video out of my Hercules?

In the default skin you can use the knob called "CROSS", which is next to the crossfader on the lefthand side. That knob will just control the video and leave the audio where it is. Normally your crossfader is linked to that knob, but the knob will work independently of the fader. Hope that helps.
