Hi Guys - Can someone help?
I have 10 favourite folders in my VDJ 3.4. A couple of the folders are acting quite strange at the moment...
All my tracks are titled within VDJ - As in when I open each folder I can see a Track Name/Artise for every track that I have.
Now it seems that if I open one of my favourite folders - all the info comes up in the main list.... but when I go into search mode - some of the Artiste's will not be detected when I search for them - If I search for the Artiste no results.... but if I search for the track name it will appear....
When I go into the rename file option The Artiste is there under the artiste section.... Is it something to do with the file name part?
I'm confused - Can someone please help?
Many Thanks!
Rob

that will not do anything for you.
go to www.download.com and search for tagscanner. professional grade freeware.
download that.
use this software to batch process your entire music library.
rename the files to "artist - title - year - genre"
example: "dj shahar - techno mix 1 - 2004 - techno.mp3"
this is the only 100% method to find a song in any program.
i speak from experience.

OK I found the file and have downloaded it and scanned my hard drive. Now I am too chicken^&*t to have it rename my music. Will I need to re-scan my HD with VDJ/CUE to see my files??? Or will everything be cool?? Please someone with bigger b$%^s than me tell me how it worked for them...lol
Thanks

Please disregard my last post in this thread. It does a remarkeable job with the name and artist, but you lose all of you cues and BPMs. Everyting would need to be re-analized..... Great for a fresh install, but when you are already more than half way done it is a step backward.....
Thanks goodness I tried it on just one Album first.
