Just purchased a AMD2 dual core 3.8 athlon......
Running in 32-bit mode at the moment as nothing works with 64-bit (including VDJ as I am sure you know!). VDJ runs like a dream in 32-bit mode, but was just wondering when 64-bit support will be available so that I can upgrade my o/s to XP 64?

You made a mistake, any Intel Pentium D Dual core or Core 2 is better than anything that AMD has now to offer for the money.
About 64bit, not anytime soon as you will have to wait for many drivers to be written for 64 bit Operating systems like Vista, XP etc. Right now best combination is Vista 32 bit and VDJ 4.3 (4.4 will be better as it will fix some minor bugs in Vista).
