I have my setup that was working flawlessly but like a month ago a weird noise started to ocurr. Only in video files. I play that same file in windows media player and it works fine and before it worked fine. Mp3s play fine and videos some play ok and some sound really weird (Like distorting the song and it spikes up and down). I have messed around with some settings and the problem is still occurring. Just recently I tried 3 files copying them to internal hdd instead of the external and having the same issue. So that cancels out possible usb problems.
Laptop:
Alienware
2 Gigs Of Ram
2 * 512mb Sli Card (Dual monitor can only be 512 mb)
Amd Turion 64 Mobile 1.59ghz
Using Hercules Mk2. About and Hour Ago was tired of this and deleted audio drivers rebooted and then reinstalled and that did not do anything.

VOB ripped with the VDJ DVD ripper. Videos are from Promo Only.
Also AVI ripped with other programs.
I think it started happening after I installed the newest version of VDJ.
Is there a way I can go back to the previous version without loosing cue points, bpms and etc?
The video files also have the same noise when I use the Virtual Vinyl.
Seems like CODEC issue to me with VDJ. Very bizarre.
