Hi guys,
Having a bit of a problem with Virtual Vinyl.
After I get my songs matched, BPMs, phase correct etc...the songs will quickly start to go out of sync for no apparent reason, not much but out of sync. I am having to continually hit sync or drop it again.
I thought perhaps this was the 'wow and flutter' of my turntables people were talking about here: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/52926/PC_Version_Technical_Support/Pitch_fluctuates_only_when_using_Time_Coded_Vinyl.html?highlight=beatlock
Is that the case?
I also tried to solve the problem by using beatlock, but beatlock is not staying on the beat that i locked it on. So say I locked them both on the anchors, it will move itself accross one and stay there.
WHY!?!?

With the beatlock button, try to press it just before the anchor beat. You might notice that it will not move across again.
Dunno if this is any help to you, but you could at least give it a try.

Yeh its odd, it doesn't always happen, maybe that is why.
I'll give it a go and see.
It doesn't seem to move again only the first time which is wierd.
Its like it doesn't think it should be beat locked on the anchor so it moves across

Not too sure on your probelm........ i know with some songs that i load into virtual dj, the phase markers are off the actual beat of the song, so when i sync it with the current playing song where the phase markers are on the beat, the beats sound trainwrecked.....
When i manually re-align the beats i notice virtual dj will slowly let them slip out of beat again.
Seems that virtual dj will only sync perfectly and stay on the phase markers when suync is pressed.
Could be your problem.

That's one of the things about the program...it can't be correct all the time!!! When I have a track with the CBG's are off the beat I manually adjust the speed and play them together correctly...and just keep spinning my dac 3 wheel to keep it in time.
There are ways around it...and i suppose it puts a bit of fun back into it from a mixing point of view...you're no longer just a push button dj. Not that I'm dissing any push button dj's of course...this is just the next step in the journey.
Keep spinnin'...(",)

Well its making me even more of a push button DJ because I have to continually press Sync to keep them aligned!
If I try to solve that by hitting beatlock, it moves the anchor across!
Pain in the *SS I tells ya!

Ok well it doesn't seem to have anything with loops, because it happens with or without them.
Any chance it could be something to do with anti-skip?
The songs do not skip by the way, and needle is at 100%.

Try it without TCV to see what happens, if is ok, there is your problem. Try to edit BPM with manual tap option also.

U have to edit the bpm using manual tapping so that next time it will sync properly. Some song really have to be done manually.
Keep spinning
