Having updated VDJ software to latest version and updating Dj Console Mk2 to latest software but now evry fader movement causes noise to be output whether using a mouse directly on the software or using the DJ Console. Any ideas?

I had that troubles a few days ago.
Here is what you gonna do.
Reverse old 2006 drivers for MK2 and firmware too. 2007 drivers works good on Vista only, but I think they are buggy all the way.
Update your Direct X to the latest June one:

and in settings of VDJ Select Latency on 512/11ms and turn on Overclock and disable Safemode.
