When using timecodes with an external mixer and the hercules Mk2 as a soundcard, can the Auto BPM matching feature still be utilised, as sometimes it would be quite useful, rather than having to do it manually.

ATM i only have decks and a mixer, but was considering making this next step up

Yeah, it can be used. The mk2 controls override the TCV control.

Happy days! And when using my mixer with the decks, would I just leave the crossfader in the middle and faders at max?

You would leave the Mk2 crossfader in the middle and use your mixer as normal.
