You need to have a cd rom drive that reads cdg disks. These can be expensive but should give you the results you want.

I do a lot of Karaoke with my VDJ, but when it comes to playing CD+G's, I use a DVD/CDG+G/MP3 player. You can buy one for about what you might put into a good CD ROM drive. And you'll have a back-up, in case your comp or VDJ crashes if you don't mind having your discs handy.

Your going to need to rip your disks into mp3+g format,I don't think VDJ will read a cdg disk even will a cdg drive. P@40
