Hey i bought a hercules mk2 and its got the basic version of vdj. do i need to full version in order to use time coded vinyl? i want to buy the numark battle pack and get some time coded vinyl just to mess around, i dont want to be a pro club dj, but just have fun at some house parties. any comments on the numark battle pack? its the newer version with direct drive turntables, a mixer, cartridges, and headphones for $399 at guitar center.

Yes, u did need for full version if u wanna use TCV longer n full capability:)), as ur DJC edition permit 5 min only.. Not so much on numark battle pack but as long its direct drive turntable, it is good to go on an entry level dj:)
