Hi I recently changed computers, upgraded my IBM A22 laptop to an IBM R30. Thought the additional power would be good. however, I am having problems with automix. When I start the program it will flash three or four times and then I get the must close message. I can get this only once, not at all or several times. Twice the program has just closed without warning in the middle of a song. Sometimes the right deck volume is considerably lower than the left. I use a usb creative lab external sound card.
last night the program was running, no sound and no visual that it was running. The only way I new it was running was when I tried to close I got the music playing are you sure you want to close message. Any ideas anyone. thanks

What is the spec of your new Dell laptop?
It could be ram memory problem. How much ram have you got installed in it?
