@Deneon DJ

I think jpboggis is the person that you're thinkling of:

I picked mine up today, and have been mapping the buttons for the past hour or so... it's not an easy process (actually, it's not difficult, but it's pretty time-consuming).

I might have to install the Reflex software just so I can give the HC-4500 a spin this weekend. It's a very cool piece of gear.

can you guys tell me what's the diameter of the wheels thanks? Looks awesome:):):):)

71mm, according to the manual.

FYI - apparently there are problems with the controller working under Vista...

If you're a vista person, you might want to look into it before purchasing.

How does Reflex perform with the controller?

OO

Here’s a better picture:

Here’s a link to the thread where I got the picture:

The owner compared the HC4500 and Reflex to the Dac and Torq (read the 2nd paragraph).

Thanks for the info smittydc. Anybody else that has any additional information about the HC4500, please post here.

Yes, I'm following you everywhere telling you the same thing...
The problem is with Vista MIDI drivers.
Sound Card works fine with Vista.

I have a Denon DN-X 500 for sale should anyone be intrested.

When I can get hold of one, I will start work on a custom mapper plugin for it, but unfortunately it isn't available in the UK yet. :(

Obviously native support in VDJ will be required for this too, but hopefully this will be added soon.

How is the feel of the buttons ?
Short and click like cdj's or rubber and soft like the dac-2 ?

Short and click like other Denon products with rubber buttons...

Honestly, I installed it and opened it up but I wasn't impressed with it. I guess I was hoping for more than a 30-day trial, and there weren't any menu options I could access right from the get-go. Not even some on-screen tips at startup. I decided to spend my time working on a VDJ mapper instead of trying to figure out Reflex.

VirtualDJ is better, so why not just to that.. :)

Hope to see native support in VirtualDJ soon

Hey..........

Please Take a look at this. and see if you can help me. or give me some ideas. about it.

Also i read this at the Manual.: Minds i can do VIDEO CROSSFADER

2X-Control
When the DN-HC4500 is combined with DENON’s
DN-X500/DN-X900 mixers, the crossfader of these
mixers can actually be mapped to crossfade your
software players by one simple 3.5mm stereo
mini cable

Thanks in advance.
