I installed VDJ 5.0 "on top" of 4.3.
WHen looking thru my directories, I noticed there is now an install in the C:\Program Files folder AS WELL AS in the (username) My Documents folder. They both seem to contain the same data EXCEPT the C: data also contains some 4.3 info.
Can I delete the Program files listing if it is residing on My DOcuments?

For all interested - and this just comes from me "needing to see how things work."
If you do a clean install:
SAVE as you were instructed a copy of your needed files (Database, etc.). Do and uninstall, then go back and clear out all VDJ directories and files.
Re-boot (it is just good Karma)
Do a clean install, then you will notice some EXECUTABLES are located in the Program Files section, but all other data is resident in the My Documents section. This is a FAR superior configuration.
GO back and remove the the new version of VirtualDJ Database V5 and replace it with your copy you backed up (You DID remember to do that right?) and rename it the same name "Virtual DJ Database V5"
Viola -
Now I have a clean install and all my previous settings!
