Did I just loose all my playlists? I can't find them and I can't find how to get them back in the users guide

The manual doesn't explain that it is gone!! It explains that there is a core database in the new MyDocuments\\VirtualDJ folder and a copy of the DB for the contents of each drive is stored in the root of the drive. It also explains that the v4 DB is not touched.
READ THE GUIDE

Glad you found a solution to your problem.
If it's your choice to play with fire and get burned, then that is your choice.
Read the manual and have better luck in NOT getting burned - but then you already have done that...
cstoll
