This might sound dumb but i have to ask questions. Using a external hard drive do i still need to make my folders in let's say my computers c:drive like i have been doing so with my laptop?

it would be good organisation to make folders say for each genre , with sub folders of artists ect

the new v5 (demo comming soon) database is very powerful and can read id3 tags dirrect aslo so you can search by year artist ect

No, your folders can be on your external drives

And add them as favorite folders in VDJ
