I connect to 3 wireless networks ( internet ) in different places during the day,
for some reason Vista will randomly not allow me to connect to one of them.
This one is the only one that is not secure. and on top of that when i look
at my list of network connections i have the following.
default
default 1
default 2
Linksys
Linksys 1
Secure Connection A
Secure Connection A 1
etc
It seems like it duplicates all my connections and for some reason it will not
allow me to connect lo linksys. I thought it was the router, but if i uninstall
the wireless antena and delete all my network connections and and start
fresh, everything works 100% for a few days and then it will disable Linksys.
Anybody experiencing a similar problem?

Ancient proverb...
"It is better to be pissed off, rather than pissed on."

One of my PC's is linked to router with 3 other laptops. All the connection work properly except the PC which is Vista. Once in a while I cannot log on to any IP. I load the IP and it gets to the home page and hangs. None of the other computers do just the PC / Vista. I reboot several times and nothing. After awhile I can log on. There is nothing really on this computer. It was baught for a 8 year who has 3 elementary games on it, That's it.

its also big issue for mutiple simular SSID's
if only they would rewrite wireless network connections to connect to exact MAC addresses as default setting
it would cure that issue for wireless network connection with simular SSID's in a short range or mutipule reaccesses to the same router(s). most wireless can have up to a 10 mile range "depending on router/networkcard/signal to noise ratio"
try changing the SSID name of your routers to something that isnt the following
-linksys
-default
-netgear
-or any brand name
:) not familiar with vista enough yet, but hopefully someone has had the same issue n cured it has some insight :)

Also check to see if there is more than one wireless access program running. They could be conflicting with each other.
