Problems!!!!
i hooked up the mk2 to my sys with a external mixer...
output 1&2 - 3&4 on the mk2
line 1 & 2 on ext mixer
can't get head phones to work on ext mixer or the mk2
use the the sound card on the mk2 our on my putter (internal maya 44)
then when i try to change the head phone setting on the mk2 (mix or split) the sound come out of both of the lines 1 & 2
on my ext mixer...
the reason for getting the mk2 was for mixing videos...
any help thanks...

I guess you want to prelisten and crossfade audio on your external mixer, and use the Hercules crossfader for video crossfade.
If so do this:
- In controller tab, enable Hercules as controller
- In Virtual DJ output, choose external mixer
- Soundcard : choose hercules
THEN, got to hercules control pannel, and force it to run in external mixer mode.
- Go back to VirtualDJ video setting, and chooe link video crossfader to audio crossfader
- Go to general options, and disable audio crossfader.
Now, you should have video crossfader on the Hercules,. and can mix and prelisten audio at your external mixer

thanks i got that but....
im looking to control the sound and the video with only the slider on the mk2
and leave the ext mixer vol up...
when i try to que the music or vids in headphones only here whats playing on the speakers...
in both (head phones) connections on ext. mixer and mk2...
also when i switch to mix, split on the mk2 (head phones) the sounds come out of both lines in the ext mixer
or do you think it would be better to use my internal sound card (maya 44) instead of the card on the mk2 if so how would cfg it to cntrl what i trying to do...

You can do that using DJ Cel's mapper, but you must lose some option on MK2 as there is no dedicated video crossfader on MK2. If you don't use Volume sliders (as I don't) you can map video crossfader to one of the Volume sliders.
