Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi all

Just purchased virtual DJ and I am now part of the huge DJ family,

I have own also own a pair of CDJ 1000 mk3, .... so I have downloaded the CDJ1000 skit for virtual DJ5

Great...... but..... I want the que buton to work in a different mode

ok I spin the top to my required que point... hit the que button and all is well, the tune/video is all qued at the right point

I hit the play button and tune starts at my que point....

Heres where I am not happy and things go wrong....

If I hit the que button again it creates a new new que point.... wrong ! thats not what I want

I would like it to go back to my first que point.

Can this be done ???

Thanks Guys, I sure my CDJ's work in this mode.

If your CDJ's jump back to cue when you press cue while playing, so will VDJ..

(if something is not changed in 5)

VDJ will do exactly like your CDJ's does, after all your CDJ's control VDJ.

It's not that it is a problem with the skin... it's that the skin was coded that way. You should consider posting this in the Skin thread for the author. Go back to the skin download section look at the skin download to find the author's name. And post your request for the change in the Skins Forum.

It can be changed to do what you want....

Hey, Johnny, I thought you still used the CDJs WITH VirtualDJ.. And I didnt know it was a skin you where reffering to.

You can use your hardware CDJ's you know, to control VirtualDJ, using a special timecode CD
http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/cd.html

And that way you dont have to use the cue in skin, but rather press the cue button on CDJ's, and it will behave just like you want ;

To jump back to cue and play from cue, is usually called Hot Cue in skins, so if you are pressing in skin, try using the hot cue option, or go to skin forum an ask how to modify the cue skin button ;)
