Topic: v4.3 crashes [SOLVED]

I have had it crash twice so far
once while I was gigin and I went to use the backspin effect......locked up with a loop of the cureent song
second was just a minute ago while just listening to a song....did same thing and I had to a hard reboot both times...

help please....I have a gig tonight and dont want this problem again

what spec is your machine

what performance options do you have set?
 
Dell lappy dual core cpu, 1.5 gig ram......all performance setup including speedstep tweaker....I am using my onboard Sigmatel sound cards headphone jack.........has been working fine until I upgraded to v5
 
on vdj , go to options and performances and try setting fastest and autolatency
 
ill give that a try.....had it set to fastest already but not auto....hope that fixes it...let you know later tonight
 
could you look for crashguard.txt and post its contense here or send it to me via pm please

its located in C:/programfiles/virtualdj

Have you tried to install v5.0 because your crashguard report concerns v4.3r12

You can now delete the file "crashguard report.txt"
 
You are reading the wrong file, go to D:\My Documents\VirtualDJ" and open "Crashguard report.txt" and post it here.
 
i totally uninstalled v4.3 then reinstalled...and it worked fine...although i did not try any of the effects was still worried it might happen again....ill guess i will just have to try it
