Tried to add the VMix 5.3 skin.....getting and error (invalid skin file; error line 0 in xml file).

???????

Got same issue. Opened XML ... Noticed this line was present at the top on some of the "problem" skins.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Removed, and then worked fine. Not sure how it got there though.
 
make sure the monitor resolution is the same that u using for the skin.. just a tip.. if ur monitor resolution is smaller than the skin that u using, it may create error...

Possibly by editing the file in a web-based editor, such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage, or even Word.

Sometimes these programs add these extra lines thinking they will be uploaded and used on the web, where the declaration above is needed.
