im extremely sorry if this question has been asked before
but i've looked through the forum
and i still cant' find the answer.
my quesiton is
with nothing but the mk2 and the virtual dj console edition
can i make both output 1/2 and 3/4 just outputs to speakers
and then use the front headphone output just for for my headphones?

channel 3/4 are used for the headphones
so if you plug your speakers into that output , you get the same feed as the headphone jack for monitoring

Why do you need 3/4 also? Just split out the 1/2 cables if its going to more outputs.
I doubt its possible you'd need more channels again if you wanted the headphones to work properly.
