Can I reprogram my gain buttons to have a short cut so I can easily move them up and down using say the arrow keys? I really hate having to use the mouse. Thanks for your help,

yes you can look on options and then keyboard shortcuts:)
and make your own shortcuts for all your favorite actions

Did not see a shortcut for the gain button in the config keyboard shortcuts, I am fairly new to the program, can you walk me through it?

1/ Add a new shortcut
2/ choose mixer section
3/ select function "gain"
4/ press the key to control this function with (in this case CTRL+Down)
5/ write value of change (this case - 100, for up write + 100)
6/ choose deck on which to perform this action (default means on the currently selected deck)
That's it ;)
