i'm atthe club so i can't stop and recreate this but if you take the highlighted track and drop it ina virtual folder , it falls outta the playlist and you lose the highlight / placemark ....... what i did was i grabbed it again in the virtual folder , put it back in place in the playlist and all was well

That is not a glitch. You removed it from the playlist and added it to a virtual folder. Next time find it in your browser section and add it to the Virtual Folder. I mean you were using automix so you had the time to search and find the track.
