Hi I have a Toshiba R40 Hi Spec Laptop it has dual core ect ect
Thing is i just started getting a Craceling noise every now and then coming from the Internal Sound card now the other External USB card is Fine
And i know the Internal Realtek HD is fine as it works Perfect with other sound Programs such as Sax and Dottys Karaoke Presenter.
i done the usual uninstalled and reinstaled but still geting the problem Updated to Latest drivers 08/07 Directx has also been updated
it is only happening about every 30 mins or so just sounds like the file is distorted crackling ect
Ive put me performance slide to best quaity rather than fastest
any help you guys can give will be so much apretiated as i hate doing gigs using 1 External Soundcard
many thanks

try sliding it to fastest ,
set to autolatency and untick safe and overclock
when using two cards the latencies can increase
try aslo running dj cells latency checking plugin from the download center to see if there is a latency problem
you may aslo wish to try using the asio 4 all drivers with this card
instead of the defualt ones
http://www.asio4all.com/ it can have higher quality with two cards or some drivers
