Topic: PROBLEM WITH VDJ5 BCD3000 and FA-66

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I just upgraded to 5 and I am having some major problems, even by itself ,just using the internal sound card in my laptop. I get crackling sound and soon as I turn a knob or move a slider fast the sound breaks up.

Here's what I want to do I want to use the BCD as control only, which is fine. I want to use the FA-66 as the primary sound card, but I get noise and cracking while using VDJ5 only.

Anybody would know what's wrong?

I have a HP dv9000 1.9gb duo core amd 64x2 running medicacentre

Thanks

Well I've been spending more time troubleshooting then mixing. I just don't understand why all my audio appz work great with my FA-66 except for VDJ5

I use soundforge 8 acide 6 gameops commander and are all flawless.

This is so frustrating

I get this problem too guys.

I use my BCD in dual soundcard mode for recording but I can hear a nasty grinding noise when I move a fader or rotary.

The problem has been there ever since 4.x.

I gig with the BCD sometimes and I can honestly say it worked the best on 3.2.

I've pretty much accepted that I need to have VV installed on one HD for gigs and 3.2 on the other for recording :(

Please refrain from comments like that after a Teamer has stepped in, thanks.

here's the solution:

disconnect the ground from your laptop power supply

i have the same problem as this, but on my desktop using an internal soundcard (sound blaster live! 5.1)

i can get fine audio quality using the ASIO driver of the behringer, but it puts a lot more load on the processor and can crash vdj. but if i use my sound card or the behringer sound card it has this crackling issue when moving faders etc.
