I was thinking some of you guys could help me here, I want to rip a DVD (TV series) to my HD in its respective episodes, ideally to a file format such as DivX or any other formt (with good file size to quality ratio).
Any ideas what software might best suite me? I'd prefer something straight forward and user friendly as I haven't the time to read through help files etc.

try AVS Video 4 n 1 it will do the job for you, dead easy software to get your head round and you don't have to go read any help files either but if you do get stuck just pm me, it will rip all forms of media to virtually any format you want, there is a trail version for you to try with limited ripping time before dipping your hand into your pockets so you've got nothing to lose, you can try it here www.avsmedia.com I rip all my music dvds with this, quick, simple and great quality...hope it helps
