PLEASE tell me how this is done. I am an engineer, and I find this absurd. In a good way.
My only explanation is that the audio is down-sampled as opposed to speeded up.

Is there a way of changing the way this works, so that pitch and tonality are tied together, like in real decks?
Just in case I wanted to do it, which I don't for now, but may well want to at some point.

Thanks.

You haven't to be surprised. This feature is called MasterTempo and you can find it also in professional cdj and rack.
(If/when) you find it unuseful you can disable it. I use a keyboard shortcut for enable/disable.

(OT: Used with Keylock feature, it permits you to create wonderful armonic mixes)

As u using v3.4, disabled the timestretch feature. Or if u using the trial (pro version), just disable the keylock.:)
