I like checking to see what zany concoctions Art Lebedev comes up with.
I was reading about the Optimus Upravlator Keyboard on their site:

What an interesting interface this would be for virtual DJ!
Ideally, for this to work optimally, VirtualDJ would need to somehow allow the user to have a second window open as a sort of remote control, which can use another skin independently. Maybe Art Lebedev has something that can do this already though... not sure.
