Well once again I had an issue with CUE and my icdx's.
This always happens with my right deck/player. I just started the dance music for the reception. I started mixing in a song from deck two to deck one and i get the pop up as if I was entering a song into deck two that was already playing. (I forget what is says.) Instead of keeping the song playing on deck two when this happens, it stops the song from playing.
When I hit "cancel" on the pop up the Video window pops up in the lower right corner of the screen. This is strange because I have the video turned off in the program.
I find myself lucky because the left deck is the one the people were dancing to. I had the right deck do the same thing about 1 month ago at the wedding. That time I was not lucky. Everyone was dancing to the right deck that time.
:(
Anyone have any insight about this?

Hi Jeremy G. The issue with the video window popping up from time to time using the icdx units is a known issue but I think the development team are a bit baffled as to what is causing it. Its a problem that shouldnt affect your performance however... more of an annoyance.
The other problem sounds like its just a security settings problem. Try setting that to always. In that way if you are loading a song onto a deck that is currently playing, it will not allow you until you have clicked stop.
Hope thats it?

I would think that the two issues are hand in hand because it always happens in the same order. 5 times now.
A couple weddings ago I had the time on the right deck of cue freeze up. I didn't touch it because I was affraid it would freeze the system or worse. Every song I loaded up the time never worked...

it happens with different levels of severity even with two decks, as referenced in my post in the "hardware" section...i have been recently running my iCDX's with one side (the right) as a standard Timecode CD player, and the left player directly connected via USB, the issue still occurs periodically with just one iCDX connected

I noticed version 5.5 is out. I am using 5.4 with this the only issue.
Should I update, or be happy this is the only issue?

I've seen this problem without using any controllers on Windows Vista computer. But no problem on Windows XP computer at all. Are you using Windows Vista?

Yup, vista here.
I thought about purchasing a used XP disc and installing, but I'm to cheap to spend the money on it.

I use vista and 2 icdxs, I get the video window pop up but not the other problems.
I do have my security set to always so it asks me before a song is loaded. I am running 5r3
and have been using my ICDX since 4.1.
The upper lright know is used to select and load songs
make sure your not pressing by accident. the left is the crossfade/video wndow popper.
Thanks,
DJ SMG,

Thanks for the tips. I have had the "always" ask on since I started playing off of VDJ. But the songe stops at times when the warning window pops up. Keep in mind, it doesn't do this every time, just once in a while for some reason.
