Topic: Clipbank

I tryed loading Clipbank old and Clipbank v1.2 but nothing happens.
Theres no indication that there was any clipbank files are on my computer.

What am I doing wrong?

can you copy just the dll file to another computer or not?
 


You did put it inside MyDocuments/VirtualDJ/Plugins/VideoEffects right ?
 
i run the exe file on one computer and it puts it in the folder for you. then i wanted to copy the dll file to another computer but the bank of squares didn't show up.

yes I did. I double click clipbank, I get the message, instal complete. No extra files nothing. Nothing
 
there might be two problems - You could upgrade your software several times and there are two path derections - best way to instal new software is after uninstallin previous - than you have all files in one direction.
second possibilty is that you are running 4.x version and clipbank is compatybille only with 5.x

I think your on to something. I installed over 5.4 to 5.5. I'm ggoing to uninstall & delete all vdj files and do a fresh install of 5.5 and try again.

Okey.. I re-installed vdj 5.5, loaded clipbank, I see the dll. file, open vdj, open effects, select clipbank, click on the first box window opens to select the file, I select the clipbank dll. file, open and all boxes display error in them. no pic nothing.

no i paste the new dll file into the folder but in the programme it shows the effect in the list but when i click on it, no grid or author name is there.
 
why Do you try to open .dll File in clipbank i Don't understand - I think You should open video file in clipbank or am I missing something.

yes I an trying to open the files by clicking on one of the clipbank boxes. do you show in you VDJ effects folder more than one clipbank dll. file. Kind of like sonique?

No, we can't hear you. No one loves you. So, you do see the 12 banks, when you open the Clipbank? Does it say v1.2? You have downloaded some clips and have them in a folder? When you rt click on a clipbank, and select load, you are able to navigate to that folder? Now pick one of the clips, and it should load to that bank. Now, select that bank and activate.

freakin' oops!!! I need to download them? They arn't part of the file?
Never mind..

Is there a place on VDJ site to download them?
The best place to get them?

if you want some extended mashed up vids for clipbank as the ones from flock are only four seconds long, give me a shout and we'll get something sorted for you...

that would be cool, thanks. My E-mail Address is posted in my blog.
What I would love to really get my hands on are shadow dancers. It's such a cool effect.
