I just downloaded VDJ ver 5 rev 5, as well as the Hercules MK2 update. Are these full installs right over my original (ver 5 rev 2)? Or do we need to uninstall all and reinstall?

Rev 5 can't be installed over, or full install. I am not familiar with the Herc. Try either way, what's the worst that can happen? Well, your machine could explode into a ball of flames, but if you get it on film, you could put it on youtube.

In your download center you should have two versions of MK2... update and a full. You can run the update over the current. or deinstall the current version and run the full intall

v5.05 can be installed on top
the mk2 software on this site is home editon you dont want this

could't he just update the drivers using the downloaded disc. Like for me, I keep a current approved copy of all the VDJ/Cue disc and MK2 disc in my bag at all times just in case I need to reload the system. Which I had to do once last month before work..
